BlackRock Launches First Tokenized Fund on Ethereum Blockchain

BlackRock has teamed up with Securitize Markets to introduce a tokenized money market fund on the Ethereum blockchain. The fund, called BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund, marks BlackRock’s first tokenized fund on a public blockchain. This initiative follows the successful launch of a bitcoin exchange-traded fund by the asset management firm, which has attracted approximately $13 billion since January.
